The Mission of Tripp's Civil Rights Team is to set a standard of zero tolerance towards hurtful / hateful and bias-motivated words. We believe that all members of Tripp Middle School have the right to feel safe and respected and should not be subjected to bias and prejudice of any kind.

We strive to fulfill our commitment to protecting everyone's civil rights and providing education regarding civil rights issues.

Standing Up Against Putting Down

At school and in my community ....

I will stand up for others; I will create spaces where people feel safe;

I will educate myself and others about civil rights;

I will intervene when I see or hear hurtful language and behavior;

I will befriend people who might be different than me; and

I will learn from and respect others.
